Other than Riesling, Chardonnay is the only grape to be grown in all three of our vineyard locations. Each site has its hallmarks that come together to form a well rounded, refreshing wine with crisp minerality. Stainless steel fermentation helps to keep this Chardonnay light and approachable, while partial aging in old French barrels gives just a hint of oak. A clean nose of orange and peach leads into an invigorating palate with a fresh finish.

This classic but style sparkling wine is composed of even parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Approachable yet very complex and elegant. The palate’s initial impression is of red fruits which then turns into crisp citrus and honey notes. The finish is crisp and clean.
An early harvest date guaranteed the exceptional flavors and structure found in this refreshingly crisp classic sparkler. Specially selected Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes blend beautifully together to create the base wine for this Cuvee Brut. Using the traditional method, each bottle was aged on the lees for a year and a half and hand riddled, resulting in a luxurious sparkling wine with depth and character. This labor intensive process ensures a rich and complex palate with delicate bubbles.

With each vintage, grapes present different flavors and intensities. As a result, Frost Cuvée is specially crafted each year to best reflect the outcome of the growing season. A differing blend of Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, and occasionally, Pinot Noir, creates a smooth and approachable off-dry blend. There are bright fruit and floral notes up front while light pear and a touch of spice grace the palate. Refreshing, yet complex, Frost Cuvée is a perfect wine for any occasion, from Thanksgiving dinner to summer sunsets, and everything in between.

The grapes for this low-yield Select Late Harvest Chardonnay were hand picked from a single block of our Magdalena Vineyard. This complex, heady dessert wine fills the senses with orange blossom, honey and apricots that linger on the palate.
Typically, Chardonnay grapes are the first to be harvested in each vintage. Those grapes destined for the Select Late Harvest Chardonnay are allowed to hang on the vine for an additional 4-6 weeks. This long, slow ripening process, coupled with careful clonal selection, gives this Chardonnay rich, succulent flavors and robust sweetness.
