WINE SPECTATOR June 2013

The Wine Spectator scores:

Josef Vineyard Noble Select Riesling 2010 92 points
Features a broad, ripe, unctuous feel, offering mango and papaya notes lined with accents of orange cream, ginger and Jonagold apple. The long finish is a touch languid, but this has the depth and edge to win lots of fans. Drink now through 2017. 18 cases made.–JM

HJW Vineyard Dry Riesling 2011 90 points
Ripe, with creamed Jonagold apple, dried quince and anise flavors laced with heather and orange blossom notes. Displays excellent range and a juicy feel. Drink now through 2015. 51 cases made.–JM

Reserve Dry Riesling 2011 90 points
Shows the slightly loose edge of the vintage, but there’s very solid range here, featuring Jonagold apple, heather, papaya, dried pineapple and quince notes, with a flicker of shortbread on the living finish. Drink now through 2015. 380 cases made.–JM
