Merlot 2008
As a grape traditionally reserved for more temperate regions, Merlot represents a relatively small portion of our vineyard plantings. Often used as part of our redblend, Merlot is only bottled on its own in ideal vintages. The hot and dry summer in 2008 provided perfect ripening conditions to create a beautiful stand alone Merlot. A beautiful deep red colorsuggests a full, round body. The fruit forward nose leads gracefully into the lush taste of black currant.
