Pinot Noir has been a hallmark of Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard since our founding. This delicate and expressive varietal benefits from the moderating effects of Seneca Lake and the long, warm autumns of our region.
2014 was a near ideal harvest season. A cool growing season guaranteed structured acidities, while ripening in our Magdalena Vineyard carried on with no interrupting rains or frosts. The resulting Pinot Noir is firm and dense on its initial approach, announcing its structure through a broad, red fruit finish.TESTING
