Wine Spectator names Riesling HJW Vineyard 2020 to Top 100

Our Riesling HJW Vineyard 2020 has been named the #45 wine in this year’s list of the Wine Spectator Top 100 Wines. Spectator writes regarding the honor, “Through blind tastings performed by Wine Spectator’s editors, these 100 bottles were chosen from over 8,800 wines. Selections are based on four criteria: quality (based on score), value (based on price), availability (based on the number of cases made or imported into the U.S.), and, most significantly, the “X-factor”—a compelling story and excitement behind the wine.”

We are thrilled to have received this honor and are quite proud of the wines that have emerged from the hallmark 2020 vintage. Our heritage single vineyard HJW holds a dear place in our hearts (and in our glasses) and it exemplifies the power and finesse possible in a dry Riesling.

The full Top 100 list will be featured in the magazine’s December issue and online at top100.wine spectator.com.
