WINE & SPIRITS – Top 100 Wineries 2010

Oct 8, 2010 | News & Noteworthy

For the second consecutive year Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard was selected as one of the Top 100 Wineries of the Year by Wine & Spirits Magazine. The 2010 award is based on blind tasting panels by wine professionals (see link for this years reviews), recognizing wines that celebrate great terroirs and great producers.   The Top 100 event will be held next week in San Francisco, and tickets are available through the Wine & Spirits Website. The Wine & Spirits annual buying guide will be available on bookshelves in 2-3 weeks when we will post the Wiemer feature on our website.

Please also see links below from two episodes of “Wine Library TV,” where Joshua Green, Senior Editor from Wine & Spirits, is interviewed and tastes the top picks  of this year’s Top 100. The highly acclaimed Hermann J. Wiemer Dry Riesling 2008″Magdalena Vineyard” is on of the 5 selected.
